Dr. Dunmore-Griffith attended Duke University in North Carolina where she received her undergraduate degree. Board Certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Dunmore-Griffith received her medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine, and completed internship and residency at Howard University Hospital. Dr. Dunmore-Griffith has extensive experience in Brachytherapy for breast, gynecologic and prostate cancers. She has participated in a number of research projects to improve the outcomes of radiation therapy in cancer patients. Dr. Dunmore-Griffith was in private practice for several years before returning to her Alma Mater in 2009 where she is Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Howard University College of Medicine.She serves as Director of Breast Cancer in the Department of Radiation Oncology. In February 2016, Dr. Dunmore-Griffith left her full time practice at Howard University and joined Associates in Radiation Medicine, practicing at Doctors Regional Cancer Center in Lanham, MD.Dr. Dunmore-Griffith is married to Dr. Wayman T. Griffith and is the mother of 3 children, Jillian, Joelle and Wayman, II. She is an active member of Alfred Street Baptist Church, the Metropolitan DC Chapter of the Links, Inc. and Federal City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc
